I believe we were created to be creative.

Throughout my 27-year career in the arts, I have explored creativity and encouraged writers and artists in a variety of settings and media. As a coach and instructor, my goal is to share my knowledge and experience from being a published writer and an artist’s mentor/collaborator while always continuing to learn. In workshops, I support the synergy of the group along with the growth of the individual.

My personal writing practice has been life long with a consistent daily journaling ritual for the past 25 years. While enhanced by writing, acting and spiritual awareness coursework, this passion thrives in my meditative and observation practice resulting in growth both as a writer and human being.

Alongside coaching, I write for publications and corporate clients. A native Atlantan and a graduate of the University of Georgia’s School of Journalism, my features have been published in national and regional magazines, as well as local newspapers. I’ve also written fiction and creative non-fiction short stories, web copy, marketing and instructional materials, as well as produced scripts for film, stage and puppet theater.

I feel guided to assist other creatives in cultivating a writer's consciousness and habits to produce and share their writing.  I love my chosen work, feel the daily excitement of creative growth, and invite you to join me.
